Kelsey C. Peterson Jr., M.D.
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Dr. Peterson provides Orthopedic Consulting, Injection therapy, and other non-surgical Orthopaedic Care.
He served in his Huntington Beach surgical practice from 1975 to 2003, with areas of focus including joint replacements, sports medicine, fractures, and general orthopaedics. His professional focus has been in the area non-surgical orthopaedic office practice to the present.
“It is a pleasure working with patients committed to avoiding surgery whenever they can… and our team is great at helping make that possible. I am gratified with the results and patient satisfaction generated from our combined non-surgical therapy approach to their musculoskeletal conditions. My wife and I keep busy with our combined family of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. We enjoy golf, Bridge, family, friends, fellowship, and motorcycle adventures.”

Jimmy H. Soliman, M.D
Board Eligible Internal Medicine Specialist.
Dr. Soliman is a highly disciplined and dedicated professional with excellent diagnostic and treatment skills in the field of internal medicine. He was the recipient of the Senior Resident of the Year Award when completing his Internal Medicine Residency in June 1994 at Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore, MD. His extensive experience has been garnered through a combination of formal education, specialized training, and direct, patient services in Metropolitan, Community, and Military Hospitals. Dr. Soliman has served the Southern California community in private practice since1996.

03 NSMG Robert N. Gibson PA C Meet The Staff
Robert Gibson, MPA, PA-C
Rob is a kind, compassionate, and talented healthcare provider focused on decreasing pain and improving physical function for patients who are good candidates for non-surgical orthopaedic treatment. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton in 2008 and his Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies at Loma Linda University in 2011. Rob has extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic care… and a valuable breadth of treatment skills developed through years serving in urgent care clinical settings.

04 NSMG Carlos S. Usmany Meet The Staff
Carlos S. Usmany, PA-C
Carlos is a highly personable, talented, and experienced medical professional with excellent academic, communication, planning, and treatment skills. Carlos served as an EMT instructor and Paramedic in LA County from 1991 to 1998 before graduating from USC in July 2000 with his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies. Carlos is the Executive Director and Physician Assistant for the non-profit City Help Mobile Clinic in Los Angeles, California, funded by the Dream Center Church. He has served in this role since April 2004. His experience with City Help helped to prepare him for his role in treating orthopaedic conditions at NonSurgical Medical Group starting in 2010.

05 NSMG Marissa Cordes MPT Meet The Staff
Marissa Cordes, MPT
Marissa serves as a high energy, patient focused, exceptionally well educated physical therapist with over 30 years of experience in resolving orthopedic, musculoskeletal conditions. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at UCLA and her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at USC. Marissa is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and has achieved both Pilates Mat and Reformer Certifications. She has served as Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Program at Chapman University and as Physical Therapist for the United States Army Reserve, 349th General Hospital, Los Angeles – Army Medical Specialist Corp.
“What I absolutely love about working as Physical Therapist in this environment at NonSurgical Medical Group is the privilege of rebuilding physical conditioning for these very willing individuals who just want their physical freedom back. Such a great group of people with whom I work… Makes it very easy to do what I do. In my free time, I love to teach and perform Pilates, play tennis, hike, travel, and enjoy cultural and sporting events.”

James P. Hall, D.C.
Dr. Hall works with our orthopaedic specialists to provide patient consultations, examinations, and x-rays as needed to effectively differentiate musculoskeletal conditions, their cause, and possible treatments. He graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1985, where he was awarded recognition as the Outstanding Student in the School of Engineering out of over 4,000 colleagues. His engineering background along with Dr. Hall’s subsequent doctorate degree in Chiropractic earned from LACC in 1992 have equipped him with a structural and functional focus that helps to build patient independence from the need for ongoing treatment. Patients appreciate and benefit from Dr. Hall’s conservative chiropractic approach and interdisciplinary union with our orthopaedic specialty.
“After 2-1/2 decades of serving the best loved patients in Southern California, I clearly see the excellent results we achieve through orthopaedic care without surgery… and above even our clinical capacity, the surrender of NonSurgical Medical Group into the hands of the Living God has blessed patients and staff beyond measure. Medical Assistant and Patient Schedule Coordinator
“Suzie” is a talented Medical Assistant with great administrative skills recognized by our NSMG team and patients alike. She helps hold together a master schedule that keeps all constituents happy.

Cristian Medina
Medical Assistant and X-ray Technician.
Cristian is a remarkable Medical Assistant, X-ray Tech, and translator facilitating the doctors in consultations, during minor procedures, and in taking great x-rays as directed.
“I thoroughly enjoy my position and time at NonSurgical Medical. As a team, we work together to create a family-like environment… and this naturally extends to the patients we serve. When I am not at NSMG, I go to school to follow my dreams and aspirations of becoming a Physical Therapist.”

Medical Assistant and Back Office Specialist.
“JR” wears more hats than most of us in the clinic… and he does it with talented, multi-tasking versatility. He serves as a skilled Medical Assistant and an assistant to our Billing & Coding service… he is also our resident computer expert and handles just about any of the rare technical glitches associated with our equipment.
“I love the trust and depth of relationship we earn with our patients… and my outside interests include video games with friends and playing the guitar.”
